Family Nurse Practitioner for Kirksville Veterans Clinic
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide independent primary care in clinical setting to a specific population of non-emergency patients. Perform medical exams/evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation, and health education. Requires Master’s in Nursing, Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a minimum of 1000 clinical hours - geriatrics experience is strongly preferred. Position maintains a close working relationship with the Veterans Administration in Columbia, Missouri, but does not require travel. Hours for this full-time salaried position are 8 to 5 weekdays - no weekends and no call. Major holidays off with pay. The generous benefits package includes medical, dental, life, and disability insurance; vacation and medical leave time; and a retirement plan. Prefer full-time, but part-time will be considered. Salary commensurate with experience.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Float Nurse -will be assigned in multiple locations, predominantly in our Kirksville clinics but occasionally in Edina, Memphis, or Milan. Vehicle provided when traveling out of town. Prefer experience in all areas of family health care. Duties include: assist patients in/out of exam room, take vital signs, chart, coordinate patient meds, prescriptions, labs, blood draws, specimen collection, patient notification of tests and results. Position includes other office functions as needed to maintain smooth patient flow. Current Missouri licensure required as well as high school diploma or equivalent.
