Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Job Description:Licensed Clinical Social WorkerFull-time LCSW – qualified candidates will be able to initiate, perform, and complete thorough assessment and evaluation of clients’ current situation, stressors, and clinical therapeutic needs including emotional, behavioral, social, and psychological. LCSWs must be able to provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy to outpatient child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and practice will include crisis intervention, brief-oriented therapy, and long-term therapy as required. Computer expertise is strongly preferred, since timely documentation of the assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, and progress notes are completed using electronic medical records. Activities may include participating in community education and consultation services as well as establishing and maintaining appropriate relationships with community agencies. Minimum education/qualifications for the LCSW are a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field, plus a current license in clinical social work with the Social Work Licensure Department with the State of Missouri. |
